HERDD’s founder, has always had a creative streak. Designing a one-of-a-kind textile has been something she has long wanted to challenge herself with. Like most ‘artists’, inspiration is critical to creative endeavours, so in Spring 2023 as her garden blossomed, Sarah discovered more & more beauty in the depths of her rambling cottage garden. There with her camera, she found inspiration for “The Original Floral”, the first of HERDD’s bespoke fabric textiles - this is a timeless print of warm muted colour, each garment being unique to itself with the placement of hydrangea, peony, rose, limelight & alstroemeria.

The following Spring season in ‘24, there was another - one blooming with Blue & Navy hues, called “The Blue-out Floral” - this time a bouquet of cosmos, hibiscus, hydrangea, japanese anemone, candle stick delphiniums & more alstroemeria.

We have done a few limited edition runs of our floral base layers & compression tights, as the popularity of these unique fabrics saw fellow floral-lovers wanting more—our Original & Blue-out designs are, however, almost sold out. Browse our HERDD merch store above, where you’ll see these florals come to life in sun-protective, flattering base layer tops and secure, figure shaping compression tights. Our tights are able to be worn by active woman, not just riders. The silicone ‘bum’ grip in the pattern of HERDD’s leading “H”, is discrete inside the thigh area — these tights make great day-to-day yoga/exercise wear. For riders, we are serious when we say these are the ONLY moody floral riding tights on the market - we’ve searched, we have not found.

In mid-2026, we will release our third, bespoke floral textile in a base layer, complemented by a solid colour compression tight to enhance the beauty of all three of our florals. Have you started collecting yours?
