The highest quality ingredients go into these bars; we leave out the harsh surfactants, chemicals & synthetic/filler fragrances.
Our chemists have worked diligently to craft a natural foaming, solid formula, that effectively cleans away dirt deep into the coat, hydrates skin & ‘cuddlifies’ coats.
We use functional botanicals such as magnolia, rose, citrus, Kawakawa, Kumerahou, rice milk and vitamins to support healthy skin, coats, manes & tails.

Made from NZ sheep’s wool by a NZ wool artisan, it is a 100% compostable solution to the plastic bottle—think of it as a natural fibre ‘loofah’ {no nylon} that you can pop your bar in & leave it there.
Simply wet it at bath time, & use it as an exfoliator & sponge to massage over your pet. Then hang it up to dry for next time.

True to our ethos of being truly eco-friendly, the HERDD Bar tote is made from 100% recycled wool from the sheep roaming the fields of New Zealand.
Supporting NZ’s wool industry, because it really needs our help!
100% natural fibre (including the cotton loop), so it will compost down & not take up space in landfill.

Put your HERDD 3-in-1 shampoo bar in this purpose-fit tote & lather it up with water, then scrub over the animal’s coat.
Keep massaging, using the tote as a bubbly sponge & exfoliator.
Leave the bar in permanently, & replace the tote & bar once the wool tote stops lathering.
If you use a HERDD bar without a tote, you can save up all the ‘end bits’ of bars & pop them all in a new tote, to use up every last bit of formula.

When you’re finished with bath time, simply hang the tote, with your bar inside, to dry out.
You don’t need to dry it, the wool tote will dry out purrfectly all-by-itself.
Between uses, hang the tote by its loop on the laundry tub tap, wash bay hook or outdoor tap to drip dry. Then put it in a cupboard out of the sun.

When your bar gets low & breaks up, put the bits in a tote
If you use a HERDD bar without a tote, save up all the ‘end bits’ of bars & pop them all in a new tote, to use up every last bit of formula.
The bar formula softens with washes, so the bar itself becomes ones with the wool of the tote, making a foaming gentle exfoliator to wash the dirtiest and most sensitive of pets!
{When the bar breaks, think of those ‘bits’ as the last bits in a plastic bottle, that you usually can’t get out!}

Once it’s worn, it is fully compostable fibre. Dispose of it in a compost bin or reuse it as a mini seedling pot 🌱
Or, just throw it in the bin where it’ll compost down & not take up room in a landfill near you.
